Agreement to Terms
By downloading or using Just Start: ADHD Focus Timer ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
Just Start is a focus timer application designed for individuals with ADHD. The App provides timer functionality, ambient sounds, a virtual focus garden, achievement tracking, body doubling features, and focus insights.
Free and Pro Features
The App offers both free and paid (Pro) features:
- Free: Core timer, 3 ambient sounds, focus garden, and basic insights.
- Pro: All 10+ ambient sounds, AI body doubling, advanced insights, all achievements, and unlimited custom timers. Available as monthly ($7.99/mo) or annual ($49.99/yr) subscriptions.
Subscriptions and Payments
- All payments are processed through the Apple App Store.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, though you may request refunds through Apple.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose as a personal focus and productivity tool. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Redistribute or resell the App or its content
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and audio content, is owned by Gianlorenzo Ranieri and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Ambient sound recordings included in the App are sourced from Creative Commons Zero (CC0) public domain recordings.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Just Start is a productivity tool and is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, including ADHD. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gianlorenzo Ranieri shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
