We want Just Start to help at two moments: when a task feels difficult to begin, and when an interruption makes it hard to return.

First, a dependable foundation

Our website now has practical guides and free tools in 14 languages. The next app update is being tested with more languages, clearer small-screen layouts, localized widgets and better protection for local history when a backup fails. New app languages will be described as available after the update is released.

We are also checking purchases, restoration, AI limits and privacy disclosures. A useful app needs to be reliable before it gets bigger.

The proposed next steps

These features are planned, not available yet. We will test them with people who struggle to start tasks before committing to release dates.

1. Leave yourself one next step. Save a short, optional cue so you can return to an interrupted task without planning it all over again.
2. A small focus panel on Mac. Open it with a keyboard shortcut beside your work. Phone-to-Mac continuation must handle offline use, purchase restoration and conflicting sessions reliably.
3. Kinder time-estimation feedback. Build on the existing session estimate with one practical observation when there is enough history, without turning it into another score to chase.

Ideas we are keeping in reserve

On-device AI, interactive Siri snippets, photo-to-first-step input and Android remain areas to investigate. We are deferring Watch expansion, distraction blocking and win-back discounts. Social rooms and medication or clinical reporting are outside the active product direction.

How we decide

We look for easier starts, useful returns and value that lasts beyond the first download. A five-persona AI review helped us compare scope and risks; it does not replace user research or establish that any idea is unique. App Store featuring is not guaranteed.

More pages and languages do not automatically mean more useful traffic. We will improve examples, translations and search pages using real search queries, tool use and feedback.

Simple purchase choices

Our approved US pricing is $4.99 monthly or $29.99 yearly. The App Store shows local prices and purchase terms. Existing lifetime purchases remain valid. AI requires an internet connection and is subject to service limits.
